In the mid 1970s, the late William Lovett, a former law enforcement officer turned attorney, with his wife, Delores established Viable Alternatives Corporation, a solution-based corporation employing private security and electronic surveillance technology as an alternative to unnecessary incarceration and unsupervised release. When Mr. Lovett passed away, Mrs. Lovett continued the business until her recent retirement when she passed the visionary business to the new Viable Alternatives Corporation team.

Since 1974, Viable Alternatives Corporation has provided top-quality uniformed security services to residents in Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara, San Mateo, San Francisco, Alameda, Contra Costa, Oakland and Sonoma counties. Small business enterprise principal, Teresa Huerta Larkin, adds blended security services including remote telesurveillance, burst-motion video and video analytics to Viable Alternatives Corporation's menu of comprehensive security programs.
